RaceMania

A hybrid casual time trial racing game developed for Android mobile devices.

NOTE: Ignore the privacy notice in the beginning, nothing is being tracked. Also, it appears that some stages (such as the loop stage) has a non-functioning finish line. Just hop back into the main menu with the Home icon top right and select the next stage.

The game was designed and developed based on the prompt: "A racing game like TrackMania".  After a few weeks of development, the project was abandoned.

I was responsible for programming, level design, and game design. A lot of effort went into creating a racing experience where the player rarely needs to brake, which was handled by autobraking during turns, and by using specific road widths and turn angles.

I also put a lot effort into the feel of the car; with this being my first racing game, I am very happy with my results, but can easily see where I could improve.
