Bestiary (2022 DFI Version)
A downloadable game
Bestiary is a combination of investigative puzzle solving, tactical gameplay, and exploration, set in a dark and dangerous world of monsters.
Originally designed and developed as a Masters Thesis project in 2021 (which can still be found here), this version represents a major overhaul of all systems with the intent of improving the play experience. This version is, for the purpose of playability, structured like a Roguelike, which is not the intent for the final version of the game.
While this prototype only features combat, the final version will include party management, exploration of different biomes, and a dark story of a human caused apocalypse in the making.

All visuals were created by Laura Blicher (LinkedIn, Itch), all sound effects were produced by myself in BFXR or downloaded from FreeSound. The game was developed in Unity, and programmed in Visual Studio.
